Why GFP?

WHY USE GFP MOBILE MIX?

We use only DOT-certified nonreactive aggregates, cement, and admixtures to ensure top-tier performance. Our DOT 1-Hour, 3-Hour, and 6-Hour specialty mix designs have the lowest shrinkage and permeability rate in the State of Delaware.

If your project needs 2½ cubic yards, you only need to order 2½ — not 3. No need to round up and pay for more than you need just to avoid running short. You won’t be stuck waiting on a return load or charged extra for a short load. With us, you only pay for what you use — whether it ends up being 2¼ or 2¾ yards.

Whether it’s a planned early morning pour, a weekend project, or an unexpected repair, we’ve got you covered. We offer concrete delivery 24/7 — including emergency pours when time is critical. Call Dispatch (302 828-4444) to schedule your delivery — fast, reliable, and when you need it most.

Between unpredictable weather and traffic delays, timing matters. With GFP, your concrete is freshly mixed on-site — never sitting in the drum for an hour in 90° heat. You get consistent quality and a better finish, every time.

Short orders? Last-minute changes? No problem. We mix on demand and deliver the exact amount of concrete you need — when you need it. That means no cold joints, and no waiting on return loads due to miscalculations. Just a smooth, continuous pour — every time!

Our volumetric trucks are equipped with a Remote Chassis System that lets the VM Operator move the truck and control the pour — all from the rear controls. No need to jump in and out of the cab. No wasted time. This system is ideal for curb machines, sidewalk pours, footings, or any job that requires frequent repositioning during the pour Smarter controls. Smoother pours. Less downtime.

With our state-of-the-art volumetric trucks, we preload multiple mix designs into our system. With a push of a button, you can pour a 5 CY 4000 PSI non-air-entrained garage slab, a 2 CY 3500 PSI air-entrained sidewalk pad reinforced with fibermesh, and a 2.5 CY red-dyed 3000 PSI air-entrained mix—all in a single delivery. No short load fees. No waiting on return trips. Just the mixes you need, when you need them.

Need to adjust the slump? With our state-of-the-art computerized system, adjustments are done at the push of a button and mixed to spec in under a minute. No wet loads. No waiting on drum rotations to fix your mix. Just the right slump — every time.

You will get better results because our concrete is mixed fresh on site, your finishers get more working time — with no pressure from a ticking drum or aging load.

If rain starts after we arrive on site, you have options. You can cancel the pour and pay only a small cancellation fee — not the full cost of the concrete, like with ready-mix. Or, wait out the storm and just pay for the truck’s wait time — no risk of a hot or rejected load. Because our concrete is mixed on demand, you’re in control — not the weather.

At GFP, we take the environment seriously. To minimize our impact, we:

  • Capture 99.99% of silo dust with “Belle” collectors
  • Recycle 100% of washout slurry with CO₂ treatment
  • Meet or exceed all State and Federal emission standards
  • Produce only the concrete required for each project
  • Use just 10–12 gallons of water to clean trucks (vs. 200 for ready-mix)
  • Lower fuel use by making multiple deliveries per load
